Join us for an outdoor buggy fitness program designed to help you add exercise to your routine with accessible times, buggy friendly for all levels of experience. Our classes embrace the elements in Maynooth, where you can meet other mums, conveniently scheduled right after the school or creche drops.
Program Details:
- When: September 2025
- Where: Maynooth, Harbour Field beside the playground.
- Duration: 6-week term
- Cost: €55 Earlybird until 25th July, €65 after 25th July.

What to Expect:
- Professional instruction from a certified and experienced postnatal fitness instructor
- A Mum Bootcamp without the shouting but all the fun
- Prepare to return to running postnatal
- Pelvic floor strengthening, mobility, strength training, light cardio and impact
- Movement options to suit all levels of fitness and experience
- Resistance bands and kettlebells provided
- Baby-friendly environment – your buggy becomes part of your workout routine!
- Connect with other parents who value fitness and the outdoors
- Experience the benefits of exercising in the fresh air, whatever the weather
- Class is 45 minutes long
Who Can Join:
All parents and caregivers with babies in buggies are welcome!
You need to be 6 weeks post vaginal birth or 8 weeks post Cesarean birth. There is no age limit! Caregiver grandparents welcome!!
The classes are designed to be inclusive and accommodating for everyone caring for little ones.

About Your Buggy Fitness Instructor:
Maggie is a qualified postnatal fitness instructor from the local area, mother of two who understands the challenges of staying active with a baby, she has created this all-weather buggy fitness program to help parents prioritise their fitness in a practical, enjoyable way. She has been coaching new Mums and general population classes since 2017. Buggy Fitness is a fantastic way to add more movement to your day, with the flexibility of being with your baby.
What to Bring to Buggy Fitness Classes:
- Your baby in a buggy (optional, come alone if you have the option)
- Comfortable workout clothes
- A yoga/pilates mat if you have one
- A warm layer for afterwards as some Mums head off for a coffee and baby feeding in a nearby coffee shop
- A towel
- Water bottle
- Weather-appropriate attire (layers recommended!)
- Rain cover for your buggy on wet days
- A positive attitude for embracing the elements!
Important Notes about Buggy Fitness:
- If you miss a class you are welcome to join the alternative class that week.
- Classes run in various weather conditions – we embrace the elements!
- Sessions will be canceled in case of dangerous weather (severe cold, storms, high winds)
- Updates will be sent via Whatsapp group
- Limited spots available to ensure quality instruction
Weather & Refund Policy:
- We exercise in most weather conditions – rain, wind, or shine!
- If a Met Éireann warning is issued, class will be cancelled for safety
- Any cancelled classes will be added to the end of the term
- No refunds for individual missed classes by participants
- Refund requested 4 weeks before start of term will be issued at 50% price paid. Refunds requested after closing of registration will not be issued.
