Welcome to Simple Strength Leixlip, your size inclusive gym for every body. We have a variety of morning, afternoon, evening and weekend class times, for busy people who want to enjoy working out and create health-ful habbits.
Our goal is to provide our members with fun, well rounded, strength and fitness training , without diet industry BS.
Unfortunately, many of us have had experiences in fitness spaces where we haven’t felt valued or accepted.
If the diet industry has taken the joy out of exercise for you, we want to help you regain confidence and re-establish a positive relationship with your body and movement. Join us and experience a fitness community where you truly belong.

In our size inclusive gym environment, we celebrate all levels of experience, value autonomy, and prioritize your individual needs. We understand that health, fitness, and strength manifest uniquely for everyone.
Non-Diet Approach
There are no weighing scales, body scanners or measuring tapes. No shouting or quizzing you on your diet. We have a ‘no diet talk’ policy, ensuring this is a safe space for those actively removing themselves from diet industry influences.

Meet the coaches

Coaches Maggie and Rebecca are here to support you! They are qualified Personal Trainers, with multiple qualifications, fitness backgrounds and life experience between them. Their mission is to help you build confidence in your body and its abilities. They will provide you with modifications and movement alternatives to help you feel comfortable while exercising.
They understand the demands of a busy lifestyle and specialise in helping people like you become stronger and fitter without succumbing to burnout or overwhelm. You can experience increased energy, build strength, and create a fitness routine that aligns with your already busy lifestyle.

What Group Fitness Option Is Right For You?
Small Group Strength
Meeting you where you’re at, our small group strength and fitness classes are for people with some experience. It’s a great follow up to Starting Strength, our absolute beginners class.
Comes with a no shouting, no burpees gurantee 🙂
Active Aging: Over 55s
A modern approach to strength and fitness training for the over 55s, addressing common concerns including bone and muscle density, falls prevention, overall health and robust living.
Beginner 5km Run Group
Our beginner 5km run group happens three times a year. Join our 9 week program you will go from mostly walking to running 5km. Suitable for absolute beginners, people returning from pregnancy or a long break.
Fitness for Beginners
This 4 week course is suitable for people with no experience in the gym, or those coming back from a break or injury. Class is 30 minutes long, & designed build a sustainable routine that you will enjoy.
Mum and Baby Fitness
Returning to strength and fitness postpartum needs time and consideration.
Coaches Maggie and Rebecca are here to help you build strength and guide you through this unique phase.
Buggy Fitness Maynooth & Celbridge
‘Meet Mums & Move’ is our outdoor fitness program for parents & caregivers. Bring you buggy (optional if you can get time alone) and get fit, fresh air and some social connection at times convenient for school and creche drop offs. Mums often walk or go for coffee afterwards.

How our Small Group Training Class pricing works
At Simple Strength Leixlip, we want to provide you with a high-value training experience. Our class sizes are low, so you get lots of individual coaching, but with the benefits of being in a group. We know that you are busy, so we base our prices on how many classes per week you feel suits your schedule.
Level 1 Membership
4 classes to use anytime in 28 days. This package is perfect for people who can commit to one class per week, or aren’t sure how many to start off with.
Over committing isn’t something we encourage, and achieving a minimum number of workouts feels much better than missing sessions, especially while you are establishing a sustainable fitness routine.

Level 2 Membership
8 classes to use anytime in 28 days. Ideal for those with like to do 2 classes per week. You will feel the benefits of this routine as you feel physically stronger and confident in your ability.
Many of our members find this level a sweet spot in their training and in supporting their everyday life and activies. This aligns with the WHO recommendations of 2 resistance sessions per week.

Unlimited Membership
Unlimited classes for people who love working out and enjoy the benefits of 3 + sessions per week.
Join as many classes as you like, and notice you strength and fitness levels soar. Our timetable is flexible, and you can book early morning, mid afternoon, or late evening class times.
